New England

There is absolutely nothing like a New England summer. When the month of June pops up on the calendar, New England is the only place to be. Fall is a very close second with amazing foliage, cool nights, cozy cottages, and a wind down from the summer heat. Winter also has its perks with some awesome skiing and iconic mountain towns. Spring always takes far too long is is much too wet but theres something about those daffodils in April that make you so hopeful for the year ahead. If you take those seasons, balance the pros and cons as you go, and factor in how those long winters make a New England Summer that much sweeter, the math is easy...
New England is home for me.

For anyone new to the notion of New England, it is the area in the northeast which covers six states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire. I've spent a lot of time in all of these states to crown myself with the well earned title of New England expert. Within these six states (which are all relatively close and easy to access) you can find everything from mountains to beaches, hard working lobster boats and relaxing cabins in the woods.

I love the people, how everything moves my kind of pace (fast), and I even adore the "cut to the chase" and "matter of fact" vibe that surrounds all "yankees".  I love the food which includes an almost endless supply of seafood and even made it a point to find the best lobster roll on the shoreline.  So if you love New England too... or if you want a little glimpse on my love affair with this region of the country, you are in the right place.
