Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
It was just the two of us here in Salt Lake City, but that did not stop me from making a feast!

Before I started all the gluttony, I started the day with the traditional 5 mile run.  This was my first year missing the Turkey trot in a long time, but I still managed to get in a run in the gorgeous Memory Grove and City Creek area and call it even.

(It was a gorgeous warm day and awesome weather for running)

After the running.. came all the cooking.  Followed by all the eating.
I thought it would be fun to include some of the yummy things I made with links to the recipe... Because Christmas Dinner is right about the corner!

Herby turkey! Don't worry, it did not come out green.

Yes this was for... 2 people.

And to drink:  Holiday Mule

For the appetizer:   Cranberry Pecan Brie

And the sides!

DESSERTS!

Because it is important to have a pie per person ratio.. right?

It was a delicious low key Thanksgiving with lots of food  way too much food.

Check back in to see what I did with all those leftovers :)
And how I spent my weekend trying to burn off those pies.
(don't worry there is still a bunch of pie left.  aka my current breakfast)
